Information Security Officer

Your responsibilities

  • Support the CISO in information security management
  • Maintain the processes of the information security management system at Group level
  • Define information security policies and directives, taking into account compliance requirements and identified risks
  • Ensure the threat and information risk management landscape
  • Work with the stakeholders of RUAG International: to identify, assess and remediate security risks
  • Define information risk treatment plans and supervises together with the segmental ISO’s the implementation
  • Advise and supports management with defining their specific information security requirements and general questions concerning information security
  • Manage the exception handling process at Group level
  • Establish KPI’s on compliance and effectiveness of the information security controls and ensures the reporting to the different stakeholders
  • Promote desired behaviour and supports the management in education and awareness
  • Define and tracks the corrective measures of ISMS control results at group level

 

Your profile

  • 8+ years experience preferred: IT Controls, IT risk management and information security management including management of security risks associated with both internal and external vendors
  • Advanced degree preferred: MBA, Technical or other business related field and professional certification (such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISM, CISA, CISSP) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or at least in senior security roles
  • Very good knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of internal IT controls framework and externally driven auditing and reporting frameworks (e.g. NIST, DFARS, ITAR)
  • Perform technical security assessments and provide security advisory services e.g. in the domains of Cyber Security, Identity & Access Management and Infrastructure related security topics
  • Establish a security-aware culture and manage security incidents together with the operational teams
  • Good hands-on experience in the design and implementation of security technology and related controls
  • Very good communication and presentation skills, incl. to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and verbal)
