Product Assurance Manager Electronics m/f/d

In this challenging and exiting position at our site in Vienna you are responsible for the development, implementation and verification of the Product Assurance requirements among the entire project life.

You will act as main interface to the customer and the subcontractors for quality and safety topics.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Developing the Product Assurance Requirements and Culture at project level, ensuring robust quality processes, cost, excellence for program quality execution through collaboration with engineering, operations and supply chain.
  • Main interface for Customer for all quality and safety topics
  • Establishing Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) features in collaboration with Customer and Engineering
  • Leading non-conformance (NC) and failure investigation whenever product requirements are violated
  • Supervising and directing Product Development and Qualification for all relevant quality aspects
  • Coordinating for all Quality matters international multi-site and cross-country programs
  • Executing Product Assurance Program in accordance with Project Milestones
  • Converting the Customer Critical to Quality Requirements into internal specifications and requirements
  • Leading Customer Critical root cause analysis (RCA) and investigation activities
  • Moderating Design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA)
  • Developing Process/Product CTQ and Control Plans in collaboration with Customer and Engineering
  • Establishing Product Quality Documentation
  • Support and achieve final Product Qualification
  • Contribute as needed to Customer and internal Audits as Quality representative

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Relevant experience in the field of Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Preferred education: MSc degree in Engineering or in a similar relevant discipline (HTL/FH/TU Electrical Engineering)
  • Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL
  • Ability to quickly understand and analyze technical products/systems and their function
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
  • MS Office experience required
  • Experience in the application of Quality preventive methodology (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone…)

 

Nice to have

 

  • Experience in other Space companies
  • Professional experience in the design, manufacturing and verification of high reliability electronics products
  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance

Monthly salary: minimum € EUR 3.398,14 according to the Collective Agreement. Actual salary is dependent on qualification and professional experience.
