Production Engineer

Main Tasks:

• Support analysis of process performance
• Provide input and support implementation of process improvement initiatives
• Support analysis of tooling usage and performance
• Provide input and support implementation of tooling standardization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Support creation and implementation of PM program for process tooling
• Provide input and support implementation of process availability improvement initiatives
• Support overall safety initiatives and company safety goals
• Manage projects within the organization to support future state goals
• Define manufacturing jigs and tools, support procurement
• Simulate and plan production processes and capacities
• Manage projects within the organization to support future state goals

Requirements/Skill Set:

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline preferred, extensive equivalent work experience considered

• 3-5+ years relevant experience
• Must demonstrate previous hands on experience in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrates knowledge of quality and safety standards including OSHA standards, ISO 9001, and AS9100
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Office required
• Previous experience with SAP
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience
• Previous composite, non-metallic, or carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) is preferred
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team, prioritize requirements, and work in a goals oriented manner
