Senior Manager, Titusville Operations

The Operations Manager has accountability for the safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost performance for the manufacturing of satellite structures.

•    Directing all production related activities and flow within the manufacturing area to include direct management of the Operations function, Quality function,
•    Manufacturing Engineering Function, and the Production Planning & Support function.
•    Directing and managing the training and cross-training activities of all direct labor employees.
•    Administrating company policies and practices fairly and consistently.
•    Ensuring that work areas comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
•    Adherence to all internal and external quality standards.
•    Evaluate, manage and motivate all direct reports through a strong emphasis on planning, organization, preparation, follow-up and internal communication.
•    Lead a lean, high-performance culture that rewards over-achievement and encourages continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.
•    Communicate clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity and accountability.
•    Complete all required documentation and performs all related duties, as assigned. 

Requirements/Skill Set:
•    10+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility including direct management of people.
•    Bachelor degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
•    Excellent understanding of ERP Systems, Master Scheduling and Warehouse management.
•    Results oriented leadership style with a focus on execution and continuous improvement.
•    Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in early delivery and lower costs.
•    Operates with high integrity; builds trust and sustains credibility in relationships with others.
•    Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
•    Demonstrated experience in the application of lean manufacturing philosophy, concepts, and tools.
•    Quality management systems experience (AS9100).
•    Team spirit, autonomous, engaged and reliable, and the ability to coach.
