Quality Engineer

Main Tasks:

  • Establishes inspection processes and criteria
  • Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Establishes statistical confidence by identifying samples size and acceptable error in determining levels of confidence.
  • Develops experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.
  • Develops and manage sampling plans.
  • Maintains part traceability requirements.
  • Acts as the Quality Liaison with customers.
  • Supervises and leads quality inspectors and provides technical guidance to production staff.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and
  • benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute required customer documentation, i.e. C of Cs, NCRs.
  • Preparation of Declared Materials and Processes Lists.


Requirements/Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field (Aerospace Technology, Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology or Material Science)
  • ERP experience: SAP knowledge is a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in related field (Aerospace)
  • Problem Solving; Attention to Details; solid organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with quality testing tools and procedures.
  • Familiar with the implementation of AS9100 and ISO-9001 requirements and documentation.
  • Lean Manufacturing Methodologies
  • Familiar with Statistical Process Control
  • Familiar with Measurement System Analysis
