The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated areas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas with a focus on the Alabama region: Recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Main Tasks:
• Implements human resources programs: Talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, New Hire Orientation, training and development, health and welfare benefits administration, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.
• Improves manager and employee performance: Evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counselling managers and employees.
• Completes special projects: Setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• HR and Payroll Systems Management/ Administrator- ADP, SAP, Concur, SuccessFactors 

Requirements/Skill Set:
• 2-3 years of related HR experience
• Must be within 60 minutes commuting distance of Trinity, AL manufacturing plant
• Must be willing to work from plant office Monday through Friday (this is not a remote position)
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytic skill set and a high degree of proficiency in data mining
• Excellent Interpersonal Communication and Employee Relations Skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment
